The quake was so strong that it hit as far as Taiwan and there are 10,000 already dead. This number will absolutely go higher when they finally manage to get through all the rubble blocking the ways into the cities and towns.

If you watch some more of the the videos and updates you will also see that most of the victims are children, factory workers and so on as it had occurred mid day.

There has not been an earth quake to this degree in 1976.

On a bit of a lighter note, we had our yearbook end of the year awards today. I got Best Photographer, I am very excited.
